ABOUT ME
I am a dreamer. I dream avidly, in colours, stories, memories and daydreams. I find inspiration in nature and its wisdom, in storytelling, mythology, the elements, druid lore and whimsical creatures. I believe in magic all around us, in faeries inhabiting enchanted forests, in the wisdom of dragons. I am in love with the beauty of the Earth.
I started painting as a child under the tutelage of my aunt, a Mexican artist and graphic designer, who spent many summers introducing me and my cousins to a myriad of art techniques. Since then my passion for art and culture has marked my journey in diverse and intriguing ways, leading me to pursue drama, grad school in Art History and a professional career in dance as well as a long lasting love for painting and drawing.
All of my works are original pieces made in my home studio. I work with encaustic, mixed media, pastels, acrylic and oil.
